Terms & house rules
By registering your team for the ZEPTA Water Polo Tournament you agree, on behalf of the whole team (and the club), to the following rules:
Note: this is a courtesy translation โ in case of discrepancies the Dutch text prevails.
One team, in and out of the water
Water polo is a team sport: you arrive together and you leave together. As a team you are responsible for one another โ if someone misbehaves, the whole team carries that responsibility. So look out for each other and speak up when needed. We are organising a tournament among water polo friends, where we look after one another and treat each other with respect: within your own team, towards players of other teams, and certainly also towards our female water polo friends. That is why we are strict about behaviour โ in and out of the water.
1. Registration, payment & withdrawal (team fee)
- Registration is only final once the team fee and team deposit have been paid via our app.
- Until 1 May the Early Bird rate of โฌ120 per team applies. After that, registration costs โฌ140 per team.
- The final deadline for registering a team is 1 August 2026. Full = full.
- Withdrawing your team is only possible by contacting the tournament committee: info@waterpolotournament.com.
- Refund policy: cancellations within two weeks of the tournament receive no refund of the registration fee or team deposit.

- No destruction or vandalism occurred.
- NIX18 registration: the captain truthfully oversaw the age registration (18+ or under 18) of all team members in the app.
- In case of a violation the captain automatically receives an e-mail with the reason and has exactly 72 hours to respond. Without a response the deposit is forfeited.
4. Safety, behaviour & liability
- Sportsmanship & respect: respect the referees, the jury table, your opponents and our volunteers.
- Zero tolerance: aggression, destruction or harassment leads to immediate removal of the entire team and forfeiture of the deposit. In case of vandalism we involve the police and recover the damage.
